The Situation
Clearly communicate to to Gen Z & Millennials that TurboTax had a completely free product, 
TurboTax Free Edition.
The Ask
It was clear that the assignment needed to break out of the mold of what they’ve done in the past and establish their tone on social media, specifically TikTok. With no real history of provocative content, this was our opportunity to make something great.
The Answer
Our advice was, videos of talking animals and Alphorns, logically.
​​​​​​​The Results
The talking animals videos garnered 101.6 million impressions with 18.9k shares. 
And we created a branded effect on TikTok, called The Alphorn Challenge. In addition to hitting 6.4 billion impressions (5.7 billion above what was initially quoted by TikTok per the media buy), it had a KPI engagement rate twice the benchmark with 2.17% versus only .95%. And being on a call when the TikTok team told the clients that this campaign crushed what they have ever seen was absolutely amazing.

This was created under the previous agency that I founded, Troup. 

The Idea
Way back in 2022 before Dominic the Shoe Surgeon had done a collab with every brand on earth, we were inches away from this coming to life. Like the brand already put a deposit down, and we were close to production. Due to some unforeseen circumstances the plug got pulled, so instead of Jordans I got Jpegs.
